Question posted in the National Credit Act Law category relating to KwaZulu-Natal
I was working then I was on temporary leave just due to back strain. I was employed and was offered unsecured bank loans on my banking app it was so easy to apply, as offers scrolled your screens. I thought yes I can do with that as I do need extra help and Im working I can afford it. After a while I was afford consolidation on that loan then I took it and was offered consolidation again which was no problem as I was knew I could afford it. Early June this year I was dismissed but I knew I had comprehensive cover as well. My health is not improving, whatever money l had I gave it to my children for my youngest as I never did much for them. I phoned Nedbank to say I can only afford R100 a month and that is not even what Im positive of, they refused helping me saying its a new loan but i understood its consolidated and I was a good payer before it just had updated adjustments etc....I owe about R187000 and an overdraft of R4300.... I have no assets it was unsecured my health is deteriorating Im unemployed....I NEED A LAWYER TO MEDIATE THAT WITH NEDBANK OR DECLARE RECKLESS LENDING AS I HAVE NOTHING AND THEY REFUSE TO ACCEPT MY PROBLEM....How much will it cost for a legal adviser to make an arrangement via phonecall and email for this please? I have nothing.
