Question posted in the General Law category relating to Gauteng
Our High School has confiscated my child's cellphone earlier this week, but refuses to relinquish my property back to me desp;iet my written request to do so.
The school states they will keep the property for 2weeks and will only release it upon payment of a fine?
My understanding is that this is not legal ito the SASchools Act and Regulations?
Which specific section in the Schools Act and/or Regulations will support my argument to try to try and force the school to return my property back to me?
