Question posted in the General Law category relating to Northern Cape
I had 2 garnish orders instituted against my salaray for outstanding schoolfees. These amounts were deducted until the end of term. The lawyers officeis now saying that I owe interest which accumulated at their offices since Q-LINK (company that instituted the garnish) does not work with their interest. What bothers me is the fact that the interest was already calculated with the garnish was submitted to my HR division, so what extra interest am I liable for? On top of that that charge interest of 7,7500% plus a collection fee of 10.00% every month not to mention all the other extras. There is another account which I have been making payments directly to the school but now just found out that this account has also been handed over to them. At this rate I am basically working to pay crazy amounts of interest.
