Hi,

My dad recently died, and the house we have been living in is under my grand dads name. The house has always been said to be ours, however the transfer was not made to my dads name. Family are not giving us any information about my grand dads will so im not aware about his estate being closed or not, and have currently claimed that my dad has placed everything on thier name.

He owned and ran a business with them, which now doesnt have his name on it either.

my question concerns the house, as they have told us to move out, because the house is thiers as it is on my grand dads name.

What can i do in this situation, my mum and dad have lived in this house for 34years.

My parents were married by religion and not in court so my dads death certificate states single. and since the house is on my grand dads name, not my dads, how do i go about getting the house on my name and not letting them kick us out?
