I am an 18 year old university student in South Africa currently struggling with university fees and I don't qualify for any bursaries my dad is a single dad covering my tuition but I have a family member who works at the university I am attending is it possible for her to adopt me? Do I need to get emancipation from my dad first? Am I too old to be adopted? Can I not be adopted because I'm not being abused? How would this work?
