Question posted in the Insurance Law category relating to Gauteng
How far can an insurance company backdate a refund due to me of excess debit order charged to me? I have been charged about R500.00 too much from my insurance company since August 2024 and they agreed that an error was made in their assessment. They further mentioned that the new decreased premiums would only be effective from 1 April 2025. Can I get a backdate of the previous 8 months excess charges?
