Question posted in the National Credit Act Law category relating to Gauteng

Good day,

I trust you are keeping well.

According to Transunion I am listed as being under debt review. This was the case, but all my debt has been paid-up and I have letters from each creditor affirming this. I have a few questions on clearing my name. 1. Why, if all my debt is paid-up, do I still need to have the court order rescinded? 2. I have been asked to pay R3500-00 for lawyers fees to have this order rescinded which I consider really steep, is it not possible that I can go to court and ask for the order to be rescided in person, and 3. if possible, what information would the court require besides creditors letters stating that my debt is fully paid-up?

Thank you for your help.

Take care,

Regards,

Robert
