Dear Sir/Madam

Me and my partner are currently in a relationship for 2 years. His daughter (32 years of age and married) forced him to sign a contract to the extend that he promised not to make me a heir in his estate or to leave me anything should he passed away.

I do know that there is no such thing as a common law in South Africa and do we plan to getting married in the near future.

What I need to know is, is this type of contract valid she made her dad signed under force? And can this contract be of any value should he pass away and he did mentioned me as a heir in his last will and estate?

Is there any kind of means that I can implement in preventing her from intervening in our relationship?

Your kind feedback in this regard will be highly appreciated.

Kind regards
