Someone owes me money.
summons has been issued via email to the persons attorney and via the sherif to the persons physical home address.

Now I am wanting to go the next step and my attorney is saying that the defendant attorney wants the summons re I ssued to their offices. In my opinion this is just delaying tactics And games. I did both email summons to the plaintiff attorney as well as physical delivery as per my records as the chosen address. is this correct and satisfactory?

Can I consider the date of issue of the summons via email to plaintiff attorney as the delivery date? If so how many days does plaintiff have to enter a plea to defend?
