Hi. My husband And I purchased property less than 2 months ago. A number of faults with the property was not disclosed to us like the dampwalls (which we hidden by furniture when we viewed the house), the leaking pool and rotting kitchen cupboard under thr sink.
I did ask the estate agent about the kitchen cupboard under the sink and she assured me thait there was no dampness and that it was perfectly fine. This was before we signed the offer to purchase.
Is the estate agent and seller not reliable to pay for sorting as these defaults these sense defaults were not disclosed. Had I known about this, I would have never bought the property.
