Question posted in the Landlord Tenant Law category relating to KwaZulu-Natal

Hi need some advice my husband and I are renting a flat on a farm but have a few problems that i want advice on:
1. May the landlord just switch of the water and electricity with no given warning to when or how long to complete repairs on the farm?
2. May he just come into my home or just tell me there is people coming to do repairs in the house without any apointment and just drop it on you like a bomb?
3. After having a verbal agreement and not having him give us a contract from start may he now come and change his verbal agreement and set up new contract?
4. Supply unsafe unhigenic water to tendants out of a dam on the farm that cows graze next to with no warning and leaving tendants to go fetch clean water from town in order to have clean water to drink?
