Greetings
I jI just need to know if it is legally compliant of an institution that gave me an impression that my contract woud be renewed for 2014, after such papers were filled by my then HOD and were even signed by the Dean of Faculty in 2013.I anticipated that my contract would be renewed for 2014. Presentations were made to me that my contract would be renewed by filling in the requisition form which was also signed by the dean of faculty as as yes recommendation. I also assumed that my contract was renewed such that I just came to work from January 2014 up to March, but only to find that my contract would not be renewed because the person for whom I was doing the job came back after she had been reportedly on process of being boardered. But my concern is I was not informed in time that I should not come to work, such that I was not remunerated for the days I worked. I only found out that my contract would not be renewed after having some enquiries, seeing that time was passing by but I was not getting paid. Was there consistancy on the side of the institution or there was a fault on my side?

Who is then responsible for the correction of this and how do I have a case or do I not?
