Question posted in the Property Law category relating to Gauteng

I signed an offer to purchase in March of 2017 the seller signed in April 2017. It is now August 2017 and they have not completed their duties to ensure the transfer happens. Is there any way I can cancel the offer to purchase. There is no lapse in time clause on the contract. The deal is taking too long and I have seen other better deals       . Please advise
