Question posted in the General Law category relating to Free State
Good morning
I tried buying appliances from a company online only to find out that it’s not legit. When they started ignoring my emails when I sked them when should I expect the delivery, I ask FNB for intervention. FNB had their standard bank account frozen. The problem now is that I couldn’t recover my money. The reason being that the money I have deposited has been used. FNB claims that even if there’s money in that account, I will not be paid because chances are that money could’ve been from somebody else. I believe that if there’s money in that account, I must be paid mine back. What legal route can I take to ensure that Standard bank pay me whatever is left in that account even if it’s not the whole money.
