Hi there. I am a landlord. My tenants lease expired in jan 2019. Thereafter I continued to accept rent, without a signed lease. On 29th April 2019 I gave me tenant notice of cancellation of lease, with keys to be handed over on 31 May. This was an attorney letter. On the 23rd May the tenant demanded 2 more months extension. Prior to that she did not request an extension. My first response was for her to provide a motivation for extension. She did not address the email. I have email And contactesld her by WhatsApp to let her know that I will gladly accommodate her requests but I need clarity on when exactly she will move out. The tenant is not answering any calls or responding to emails.
It is the end of May and the tenant has not addressed any emails or moved out. What rights do I have?
