I worked for a recruitment company for 8 months, never placed or gained any clients under my name for this company was a recruiter assistant and assisted her with her clients. I resigned and a month later opened my own business, it is registered and legal. I was approached by one of her clients, i informed them that i don't work for that company anymore i opened my own company and that they needed to contact that company to assist them with recruitment but they insisted to make use of my service, my company is also advertised on Google and various platforms. companies makes use of as many recruitment agencies that they want to use and the best one's candidate gets placed, it is the clients choice who they want to use, but this Lady whom i assisted called me and threatened me that i am stealing her clients and if i continue she will sue me keep in mind she only recruits for dealerships my company recruits for all sectors, in my contract it stated clients gained under my name while working for this company stays this companies clients. i did not gain any new clients or placements under my name while employed by this company, am i allowed to assist these clients?
