Question posted in the General Law category relating to Free State
Dear Sir/Madam
I was arrested with my wife last year february for GBH. And the truth of the matter we didn't beat anyone it was only a quarrel. We were taken in on thursday night and transferred to court holding cells for appearance on friday morning, we waited to appear until we were called before prosecutor and the matter ended just like that, we are free again.
Monday morning I received a call from my younger brother that my house was break in and 55 inch smart TV as well as 28 inch monitor were stolen.
So my question is do I have merits to sue the state?
Thank you
