Question posted in the Property Law category relating to KwaZulu-Natal
Good morning. I have been renting at my current residence for over a year. Once the year has finished I offered to purchase the property from my landlord and he agreed. The offer to purchase has been signed and approved by the bank. This was a private sale. I have been to the conveyancing offices and I have done my share of signing the documents. The problem is he has not went in to sign he's part of the paperwork required for the deal to be finalized. In this time I am still paying rent and a week ago the wall(fencing) has collapsed and he refuses to sort it out and he says he now wants to go back on the deed of sale. I have already payed the attorneys for their cost in advance. What do I do from here on?
