Question posted in the Landlord Tenant Law category relating to Free State
Hi, im a third year student and i have problem with my landlord,the place is student accormodation and i have been staying there since 2017 so now is time to move out because im don with my studyings. Since i placed the notice to move out my landlord changed my payment statement by adding some interest that we didnt agree on, on 2017 when i move to the place we had an agreement that she wont chaege me the interest based on the late payments because I am using bursary and they don pay on time, so since 2017 and 2018 she didnt charge any interest so now after i placed my notice to move out she is changing my rental payment statement by adding some interests that i do no even understand.
I will like to know what should i do.
