I bought a kitchen from Easy Life Kitchens Hermanus in January 2019. According to Easy Life Kitchens head office, the Hermanus franchisee embezzled my money. Easy Life Kitchens head office claims that they have no responsibility to finish this kitchen. So far, I have paid R197 000 for a half finished kitchen and they are demanding a further R25 000 to finish installation. The original quotation was R140 000.
What are my consumer rights?
