Question posted in the General Law category relating to Eastern Cape
We moved into a complex some years ago, with fencing already in place. We bought a puppy and have had the dog several years, with permission. We now have new people on the body corporate who say no animals are allowed. We had to fill in a form to state that we had the dog and that we promise to keep it on leash etc.
Now they are saying we must tear down the fence, we can't keep the dog locked inside all day, she has been trained to go outside. What rights do we have, that when buying the property we had the fencing, already in place and the dog, with permission and now overnight the rules change? And may I add, we have been here about 10 years.
