good morning, i trust that you are well. i have a question on behalf of my mother. my dad passed away exactly a month now, we have issued his death certificate to various entities that he either had policies with or services like his medical aid provider and GEPF to which he was affiliated with. however now my Dad's will states that my mum is the executor of the will, we got a letter from the Masters office that states this. she is now the owner of the property and vehicles. but now the Bank at which the will was drafted, told us yesterday that to transfer the property onto her name it will cost about R100 000.00, please can you explain the process and do we really need to go through the bank to do this?
