Question posted in the Consumer Protection Law category relating to Gauteng
We hired a builder to do building renovations in our home to which we paid a substantial deposit. What should have taken 8 days to complete turned in to 18 days. And then to discover only 1 project was complete with just about any errors, there are many errors and incomplete things to which the builder is still claiming a large amount, we now have to get another builder in to complete this and I would like to know what rights I have in not paying what he believes is due to I\'m and going else where ?
