What happens if defendant was not given opportunities to present evidence or witness at trial. Magistrate biast and treated defendant disrespectful and already decided defendant is guilty. Defendant was verbally ordered to pay R23000.00 to plaintiff by 30/12/2019. We couldn't. Now Monday defendant must go back to court and Will be arrested and get a criminal record. Defendants right to fair trial was not allowed. Defendant suffered several seizures last night. He is on chronic meds for that but not epilepsy. Is related to his heart and severe stress like this caused seizures. If it is not better by tomorrow morning I will have to take him back to hospital for treatment and drips. What will happen if defendant can not attend court due to medical reasons and will doctor give letter to explain to court about medical condition. What will happen then? It's been going on for two years now.
