Hello. My husband bought a car from a second hand shop.the car was pawned by the owner then sold to my husband. We do not know the owner. We discovered that the car was reported stolen and it was impounded by the police. The car has since been released back to the owner. We have contacted the person who sold us the car and he has given us the run around for 2 years. We spend R150 000 cash to purchase the car and spent further R70 000+ on fixing the car. My husband does not have a car now for 2 years. We need legal advice to get the money back so he can purchase a vehicle as he needs this for work.
