Question posted in the National Credit Act Law category relating to Western Cape

Good day

I have numerous messages from a Company called Computech, stating I owe money to them when I have never even heard of them. the dont reply to emails, they just send emails every month with increasing numbers owed to them,this is affecting my credit rating negatively. please advise

Hi there,

I see that you haven't made a payment for the question, but I'm going to assist you a little. If you want to ask a follow-up question, please make the required payment.

What you need to do is to contact the credit bureau who have listed you as a bad payer and file a dispute against the listing. They will then remove your listing until such time as Computech proves to them that it is YOU who they have a claim against.
