hello, My name is MM, I'm a Human Resources Management student doing second year. My Industrial Relation lecturer gave us this Assignment.:
Case 7: The strange interview
Mr Zweli : Do you have a boyfriend?
Ms Sindi : I am sorry sir I thought this was a job interview. What has that question to do with anything?
Mr Zweli : I am the one who decides who I want to appoint in my business. I can tell you roght now that the job is yours and I promise to double your starting salary if you also promise me that as from today I will be your new boyfriend.
Ms Sindi has been looking for a job for the past 10 year, without any success. Her grandmother is ill and is in need of urgent medical care but the best care only available at private hospitals and Sindi cannoty afford that option. She lives alone with her grandmother who is her only living relative. What is worse is tha the minicipality has given them until the end of the month to pay outstanding arears on their home, threatening to kick them out into the streets if no arrangement is made to pay the arears.
THE QUESTIONS ARE:
Identify the issues that are in this case?
