Question posted in the Consumer Protection Law category relating to Free State
Bought a vehicle from a private seller 12 days ago.
Received vehicle and within a day there was issues and seller was contacted and it was stated thet we were not happy and asked for a refund to which seller had many stories...
On Thursday the vehicle gave more problems and the seller said he'll repair the issue as per his contract with us...
On monday the seller informed us that he'll no longer be part of this arrangement and there is a engin noise and as he is only a 3rd party and we must contact his lawyer
On the contract he cleary states the 3 month guarantee on the engine and gearbox ....
Also that he has buyers for the vehicle but now will distance himself
How do i go about getting my money back ?
