Good day,

I have a verbal contract with one of the insurance company's in SA. The contact terms state that I payment is made in advance from the dates it becomes bending, the contract full term is 36 months. The contract is becoming to an end within the next 3 months. I need to cancel this contract as I have traded-in the car and I have been told that I will need to pay the full 3 terms remaining to cancel.

I have requested the recording, and its only states that there will be an early cancelation fee, should you cancel before 36 months but does not state how much. I just need to understand what are my legal obligation and legal rights on this matter.
