Question posted in the Property Law category relating to KwaZulu-Natal
I have a tenant, who is out of lease and has been for over a year. He is an estate agent.
we have him a 50% reduction in rent for level 5 lockdown and he has refused to go back to his normal rent of R8000.
we have issued him notice after numerous requests to pay his rent ( includes lights and water), he ignores us.
he now says he pays s reasonable rental given the circumstances, and he will not be moving.
im desperate as I can’t afford to carry him.
