Question posted in the Divorce Law category relating to Western Cape
I am in the middle of a divorce. We bought the house together before we got married. He wants to sell the house and split the proceeds and i want to buy him out because we have young kids and i don't want too much changes in their life at the moment.
He refuses to my suggestion of a buy out but doesn't say why.
Is there a way a can buy the house when its up for sale, without him knowing that i am the buyer? Or should i wait for a divorce decree?
We are in the settlement stage now.
