Question posted in the General Law category relating to Eastern Cape

My nephew and his girlfriend was staying with me for 3 months rent free. In that time he brought her dad's car here wich wasn't driving and parked it here also without asking, wich was a big inconvenience for our tenants. So they left the for Joburg without the car. I messeged him countless time about the car and he everytime had a different story. So I decided to put the car outside and I spoke to him over the fone to tell him what I was doing because we needed the space. And he was rude and I put the fone off. So now the car went missing from outside and they want to fone the police for me, am I at fault
