about few weeks back my family got into a fight with this guy my brother said that guy was trying to steal money that's why he hit him.
i saw the fight and called the police.
when the police arrived we told them what happened the police took the guys and said they will be back.
the same day to take our statement.
they never came back on that day.
the police came back the next day and asked us
to come to the station for statement.
my whole family including me went to the station.
the police did not take any statement they arrested us for assault.
they did not want to hear anything we had to say
the same day they gave us bail R3000 each that money was learnt to use by friends that till this day we are struggling to repay.
the lawyer was already at the police station.
when we got there we did not know him .
about two weeks after this a detective came knocking on our door
i opened the door he asked for my family whoever got arrested we all was present.
he handed us a paper on which we had to sign to appear in court.
we in need of legal help we have no idea what is going on those people tell us shit in front of the police.
that they are going to put us in jail for a good amount of time.
i did nothing but call the police i never touch the guy but they accusing my whole family for assault please help me please.
the court date is on the 3rd of december 2014.
