Question posted in the Criminal Law category relating to Limpopo
I was recently arrested for shoplifting ,this was my first offence and I'm not denying anything. But I'm worried about the was I was arrested. I was manhandled by two male security officers and they touched me inappropriately during the search(searching my breast) at the exit point of the shop in front of many watching customers and got me arrested and charged by the police without any further explanation and detained me in police custody for 4 working days without court appearance. I would like to know if the is any legal thing I can do in accordance to constitutional provisions to get off the hook from this case.
