Question posted in the General Law category relating to KwaZulu-Natal

My wife has a discovery medical aid, which I may self included. I had a problem with my thumb so I decided to go for an x-ray. At time that I went for an x-ray the medical aid was offering primary care benefits. I went to the doctor to do an appointment I brought the card for them to check it I could do an x-ray,and it was agreed that I could. The following day I went back and did an x-ray and went thinking everything fine. Few weeks later I was contacted to be told that I now had to pay for the x ray, which I didn't have funds for. I would like to know I'm I eligible to pay even though it was not my mistake, and do they have the right to add interest because I have not paid.please help find a solution for this problem.

Thank you
