Question posted in the General Law category relating to Gauteng

I have been called by a disgruntled enployee who informed me that the owner of a security company has all my personal details on his private phone including my childrens details, id numbers and adresses, my ex wives details and id numbers, my medical aid number, my work history, id number, car details and salary details. I was told that he hired a private detective and had me followed. I was told that he has a daughther who is a lawyer and that he has someone in the traffic department who is providing information to him. I do not have any relationship with this security company nor do I know the owner or any other person in this security company. I would like to know the cause of action I can take?

Hi there and thank you for your question,

Does the disgruntled enployee still work at the company?

Did the disgruntled enployee give the security company all of your personal details?

Did the disgruntled enployee ask the security company to follow you?

I don't quite understand who did what, and how many parties are involved.

Looking foward to your further information.
