Question posted in the Consumer Protection Law category relating to Mpumalanga

Good day,

I bought a car(2016 mazda cx3) from a dealer (vee motors). The dealer said the car went for it's 120k service and was done according to Mazda's service schedule. I have not seen the car as yet as I stay a distance away from the dealership. So I went with what the dealers said and trusted that the service was done and signed the otp. (All correspondence on email)

Now the dealership says that the car has not had its 120k service and because they are a used car dealership they don't have to do the service in accordance to the manufacturer's schedule.

They offered to do some of the things that are in the schedule, however not all of them as they are to expensive. The manager also said(over the phone) that the car is sold at discount and that they will not make money on the car if they do the whole service.

The financing has been approved etc, I only need to pick up the vehicle.
