Question posted in the General Law category relating to Gauteng
I have a verbal contract (I have text message and voice note evidence) with someone who borrowed me money. We agreed that I would pay in installments but not they are breaking the contract but bullying and forcing me to pay the full amount within 7 days. The bullying is in a form of harrassment. I have received messages from the lender and an uninvolved party threatening to disclose this information to parties that are not involved. Knowing very well what kind of damage it would do to me. The lender and I used to be friends but because I ended the friendship they are bulling and harrassing me even after I let them know that payments would continue. I am a student with no money, what legal action can I take?
