Question posted in the General Law category relating to Gauteng

I have been employed by a Pretoria based timeshare company since October 2012 and was relocated to their Plettenberg Bay Western Cape resort twice in this period in peak season (December) and have on several occassions requested to take 2 or 3 days leave out of peak season. I was granted 4 days leave in February 2014 and after 2 days I was contacted by the general manager and told to come back to work as I was collecting money, and this function was going into arrears. I now want to resign and spoke to the financial CEO as well as the CEO and they refuse to pay out my accrued leave, as they say it was my responsibility not to accrue my leave. Could you please give me some direction as to the Labor Law Act regarding accrued leave.
