Goodday,
I attended a physical evaluation for learner firefighter position advertised in June 2024.Part of the evaluation was a 2.4km run that we needed to run in 11 minutes,and our group later found out that our 1.2 km turn around mark was further than the previous groups that ran the morning.We have witnesses that showed us were there 1.2 km turn around mark was.We lodged a formal complaint about this and several department heads was cc'd in the email.No one responded to the emails directly but we found out that the Director of the department asked the fire department for answers and nothing happened.The process continued to the interview stage without any formal response to our complaints
