Hey i was just terminated from work with Gross Negligence, Gross Misconduct and Gross Disrespect. The Gross disrespect was because I called a guy 10 years younger a child. The Gross Negligence was of a safety file that was not updated. But they got a 3rd party safety officer to audit the file and keep it updated. They paid him for this. He kept the file for 3mnth with him and then wrote a report to my head office claiming the file has been with him for the last three months and in the same sentence that the file was 3mnths behind. And he kept it with him for fear of tampering.... After multiple times requesting the file. Even sending subordinates to collect the file. His excuse was " its in his locker" With fear of something like this will happen i kept most of the training and paperwork updated with me in my office. 3x of my training licenses did expire yes, but how would i know if i didnt have the file? Now this safety officer told me after i went and booked my training "which would have been resolved wit in 2 weeks" that the same thing happened to him and 17 of his crew members and that they were blocked from the mine due to expired training. That happened 3mnth ago. Now if you knew why didnt you tell me.... And if they pay you to audit when last did you audid if ever? Plus my line manager "the child" sent me a voice note saying "whatever comes my way i deserve it. That was on the 4th. The 5th my troubles started... There are much more to this. O and in my uif showed they payed me 32k already but i went this Christmas withou a cent. Try telling your 4yr old sorry no. I payed tax on my 13th check bonus all year round and a promise was mDe i would get it on the 13th of December. The 12th i submitted my ccma case..... I think they are angry with me because of the way they are terminating my contract at the mine. Any "gross" termination means i will be blocked from all anglo sites world wide for 5 years.
