Question posted in the General Law category relating to Eastern Cape
Good day
Please be advised that I have a company which was issued with summons . My company was doing construction of a house. The client has lodged a case against my company stating that she incurred costs due to delay of the project and those costs adds up to R500 000 and according to the spec we were to build a double storey and so far ground floor has been completed and payment processed by the client was only R200 000 and this includes material bought .I just want to understand how can I not pay that amount she's claiming as it doesn't make sense. She was sent several emails about causes of delay and she ignored them .
