Question posted in the Landlord Tenant Law category relating to Eastern Cape

Dear Sir

I have been given an eviction notice due to one months rental arrears.
We have occupied the premises for over 6 years.
In this period i have fallen behind on 2 occasions but managed to get up to date.
The landlord wanted 2 payments last month which i could not afford. I have made
an offer to pay the the arrears over 2 months which they do not accept.
