Question posted in the Family Law category relating to Gauteng

Kindly help on changing of minor (13 years child) surname from fathers into mothers for unmarried parents and separated.Child no longer wants fathers surname.child staying with the mother full support from mother( school uniform, food, clothing and other necessity).

Challenge is that father refuse to pay maintenance fro Giyani magistrate maintenance court and my child have no benefits from the father.As a mother am unable register my son to my funds , for his tertiary education , in my medical aid .Father is married to someone else.


I just want best for my child too unless begging someone to do things for my child and not doing it.
