Question posted in the General Law category relating to Gauteng
I am 24 years of age and was arrested last night for the first time on the charge of possession of 'dagga' . I only had one 'joint' with me. I cooperated and and by luck received bail last night. I will be appearing in court on Monday morning and would appreciate an indication of what my punishment might be. This is my first offense, I have no criminal record, I am not an addict this was the first time I would have tried it. I was alone. The amount found was also so small it was not weighed at the station. Someone please advise me if possible. Thanks.
