Good Day

Can you please assist or maybe direct me to someone who will be able to assist. I recently took out a policy from Mariston Assurance as I would have been traveling to the UK, but will not be able to make the trip anymore.

They issued me with the receipt for payment as well as the insurance certificate.

When I contacted them to cancel the policy, they responded:

“Contact Halifax Bank UK.Inform them that payment was made into this account Kesler Conway with the following account details.

Iban ...... GB42HLFX11022510804666,

Account Number... 10804666

Sort Code..110225

Swift Bic.. HLFXGB21F75

Bank Name.Halifax Bank

.

Provide the receipt and inform them you want your money to be refunded.

The Broker you paid into his account is yet to credit our own account.

Thanks,

Mr.Alcott Caldwell

Manager Accounts Department”

I then contacted the bank and they referred me back to Mariston Assurance.

Can you perhaps assist or advise how I can get my money refunded as I am not getting any feedback from Mariston Assurance?

I have the below documents on file if needed:

Proof of payment Receipt from Mariston Assurance Policy Certificate from Mariston Assurance Email received from Mariston Assurance with documentation regarding the policy, and cancellation rights. First notification send to Mariston Assurance for cancelling the policy. Response received from Mariston Assurance regarding cancellation of policy. Response received from Bank regarding cancellation of policy. Correspondence send to Mariston Assurance regarding refund.

Thanks for your assistance. Please let me know if you require any more information.
