I signed a contract with an employer for three months. On the first day the employer phoned to say he is not coming in. Five days later he was  still not in. we phoned went to his house. He was just missing. Then I end the contract an  employed someone else.  He now claim his job back and full payment fot the three months. 

Is there any labour law that protect me for cancelling the contract
