Question posted in the Landlord Tenant Law category relating to Gauteng

Good day, I am very worried my partner and I have lived in my cottage for 13 months now and the Landlord has given us various problems, Drunk and fighting with her partner who has left her once which caused alot of problems, and has left again and she has been terribly rude to my partner and myself, she is not logical at times and its just getting worse. We have gone over our lease period and she has increased the rent and promised a new contract with her name only. well it has come down to this, she has given us notice 2 months and an attorney sent us the letter with various conditions, that we do not have any altercations or physical abuse towards her or her property. I am shocked at this as we have never had any of this before. the other thing is now I have a serious financial problem and cannot afford to pay the rent this month. I know she will change locks and remotes and put of electricity she is very difficult and when drunk much worse. what can we do, please help

Many Thanks
