Hi, My landrover went in to a local garage for a turbo repair, it took the 7 weeks and we collected and returned the car each time it was supposed to be fixed. Each time we said it was not right. On the thrid time we collected it and drove for 500m before the car snapped the crankshaft, we belive this to be due to oil entering the cylinders due to incorrect turbo and intercooler work carried out, this born out by the fact that the car was running sweet with no smoke until he got hold of it. He laos told us to get spray cleaner to spray into the engine to clean out the oil. We have since had a quote of R47k to fix this mess and have asked the origional garage to pay this, so far nothing has been replied and we have threatened legal action. We are not rich and we will have to beg steal and borrow to fix this mess. How much would a lawyers letter cost us
