Question posted in the General Law category relating to Western Cape
ello all, I'm needing advice regarding school placement fees. I paid a non refundable r15k in Sep 2014 when my daughter joined a remedial school. In April 2015 we were asked to leave the school due to behavioural / emotional issues she was experiencing. Considering we were asked to withdraw my daughter from the school, why can't we have the r15k returned to us? There is no clause in school contract that stipulates otherwise. That's a lot of money wasted esp considering its not our choice to leave the school. Legal advice would be so appreciated. Kindly, B
